The smallest particulates occurring in life science cleanrooms can damage sensitive equipment and contaminate ultra-pure environments. Unlike conventional glass and conventional plastic sheet, Eslon DC sheet will not generate electrical charges that can attract particulates and/or cause electrostatic discharges that can affect sensitive microcircuits.
Eslon DC Plate is comprised of plastic sheet with a static dissipative coating that offers surface resistivity of 106 to 107 ohms/sq range, which is optimal for the rapid decay of static charges without the creation of harmful arcing to the surface of vulnerable components.
It is offered in a variety of engineering plastic substrates and thicknesses, in color tints or as clear sheet, to satisfy the entire spectrum of static dissipative sheet requirements for pharmaceutical and biomedical cleanroom ceilings, window glazing and transparent components of pharmaceutical and biomedical cleanroom equipment.
